When it comes to shutter paint colors, Annie Sloan, the creator of Chalk Paint, says you can't go wrong with a versatile shade of gray. "Chateau Grey is a gorgeous, nuanced neutral green with depth and character inspired by the colors used by traditional French chateau painters," she says. "It's a very soft, light reflective hue that will work in virtually any scheme."

Smoky Green
