Kosher wine is generally sweeter than other red wines and is an essential part of this dinner recipe. Ingredients ¾ cup walnuts 2 Granny Smith apples ¼ cup kosher red wine 2 tablespoons sugar Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place the walnuts on a rimmed baking sheet; toast until lightly browned and fragrant, about 10 minutes. Set aside. When cool, chop coarsely. Peel, core, and finely chop the apples.
