This will ensure that the book you choose can adequately cover the device. Martha Stewart Remove book pages: Carefully cut out the pages of the vintage book with your craft knife. Make sure to leave the book covers fully intact, though. Martha Stewart Measure and cut decorative paper or fabric: Measure the paper or fabric you'll be using to line the inside of the book cover, then cut it carefully. Martha Stewart Apply adhesive to the inside of the book cover: With a foam brush, apply adhesive to the inside of the book covers. Then, take the paper interior liner and smooth the lining down, paying special attention to the book spine. Using a stack of books (or another source of heavy weight), apply weight to the book cover and let it dry. Martha Stewart Apply Command Strips to your device: On the back of your reading device, apply two Command Strips (one at the top and one on the bottom). This will keep the reading device securely attached to its new cover while also making sure there's no residue when removed. Martha Stewart
