Zero Oil Dryfruit Modak Recipe
Modak is the primary dish made in this festival. A modak is a dumpling made from rice or wheat flour, stuffed with grated coconut, jaggery, dried fruits and other condiments and steamed or fried. Many new varieties of Modak are not made some are no cook and can easily be made under 5mins.
The varient of Modak is DryFruit Modak and a no cook modak. It can be easily made under 10 mins with available ingredients.

1 cup pitted dates
1/2 cup anjeer dried
1/2 cup roasted almonds
1/2 cup pistas roasted and salted
1/2 cup walnuts roasted
1. Grind almonds, pista and walnuts to coarse powder. Grind dates and anjeer till they form a lump.
2. Mix both grinded dryfruits in a bowl and mix till the come together.
3. Add the mix to modak moulds and make modaks.
4. Chill them in Refrigerator for an hour before serving.
